A Look at Some of Today’s ‘Love Toys’
Just for fun, I looked at what sex toys are out there from the ‘simple and cute’, to the ‘downright bizarre’! Read on and see which one you and your lover would like to try.
Sex Toys – The Fun Category
I guess you can consider these the old-time favorites. They are really toys that will never go away because they are also the easiest to try and introduce into your relationship.
- Blindfolds
- Candy-flavored condoms.
- Sex coupons.
- Adult deck of cards, adult dice, adult game boards, etc.
Sex Toys – The More Daring Category
In essence, vibrators are not new at all. However, earlier versions were only for clitoral stimulation. Today, we have vibrators that pretty titillate anything and everything! For instance, the Jack Rabbit vibrator is perhaps the most popular one today. It’s even considered a ‘classic’ by some. This vibrator has an end that serves as a penis (to penetrate the vagina) and another that stimulates the clitoris. This latter part is in the form of ‘bunny ears’ that are situated on either side of her clitoris.
Modern twists to this Jack Rabbit-type of vibrators now include thrusting motions and even rotating motions on the penile part of the vibrator.
Modern technology has made contributions too. There are now electric and wireless vibrators (as opposed to just having the battery-operated ones).
Other sex toys I personally classify under the ‘daring’ category are the following.
- Door swings. This sex toy comes with all the equipment and attachments you need to basically create a swing at the back of any door. The ‘swing’ comes with a sort of harness, through which your girlfriend / wife can put her legs through, spreading them apart for errr…, your easy access. There are loops too through which she can put her arms so she can support her weight. See? No strain for her and you!
- Cock rings. These sex toys are generally known to extend a man’s erection. Hey, I’m all for hours-long lovemaking but I consider this ‘daring’ because a lot of men do not want anything applied on their members apart from the ‘real thing’ because they feel it lessens their manhood.
Sex Toys – The ‘Bizarre’ Category
Ok, the following may not be bizarre to others but they are a bit to me so please don’t take offense!
- Penis extensions. They are as the name suggests; things to be attached or connected at the end of your penis to increase its length. I find this a bit bizarre simply because I am more a supporter of better sex positions! Seriously, for many women it’s not the size at all, it’s what you can do with it. (wink* wink*)
- Anal beads. These sex toys are composed of a series of beads on a string (or flexible wand) , which is then inserted on one’s backdoor and taken out as slowly or as quickly as one wants. I personally find this bizarre because I find it a tad demeaning somehow. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for backdoor stimulation and backdoor sex but somehow the use of this sex toy does not come across as ‘sexy’ to me.
- Artificial vaginas. Okay, as a highly-sexual and erotic female I am against any fake or imitation vagina for sex. Period.

humm there’s something wrong, I think. Don’t get me wrong I do like your tips but the last paragraph is pretty disturbing to me. You are all for female toys/supernatural penis replicas but why not for male toys/fake vaginas? That’s pretty unfair and has nothing to do with sexual equality, in my opinion. I believe women can enjoy giving men orgasms with e.g. ‘fleshlights’ just like you propose men to do it to their woman with vibes and dildos. Regarding toys, I think it a bit dismissive for you to discount any toys. While I understand your comment “. . . as a highly-sexual. . .
